Artist Dave McGowan specializes in creating illustrations, graphic designs, paintings, and Reproduction Breweriana Tobaccoiana apparel and gifts. Dave has been illustrating custom T-shirt designs, Caricatures, and Cartoon style maps since 1984. His attention to detail in every design he creates is without question some of the best illustration work in the creative industry! Starting in 1985 as the Editorial Cartoonist for The Reston Times Reston, Virginia. He won several Best Editorial Page Cartoon awards from the Virginia Press Association and Suburban Newspapers of America. Syndicated in 1988 by Associated Features, McGowan's Editorial Cartoons were published in over 60 weekly Newspapers throughout Virginia, and Maryland. His colorful illustrations have been featured in the media as well as displayed in the 34th Society of Illustrators annual exhibition, in New York City. In 1997 Dave started incorporating his hand drawn illustrations into computer graphic software... So if you like to play darts and drink beer, you are welcome to play Comedy Central’s Bar Dart Challenge. An Internet game for The Man Show that was illustrated by this artist... Starting in 2002, Dave began his digital restoration work on 1000’s of damaged vintage beer, cigar, and wine labels that had been neglected for many years.
